We have many groups and teams for members and invite all to explore the options and get involved. And, if you have an idea for a program or group please tell us about it and let’s explore how we might make it happen.
Temple Beth-El’s Teams
Temple Beth-El’s teams lead the Temple’s activities and efforts in everything from social action to the Temple buildings and grounds, from education to religious practices, from personnel to clergy.
Budget & Finance
Oversees the vitally important budgetary process and long-term financial well-being of the Temple.
Caring Community—B'Yachad
Provides support and compassion to Temple families during times of sadness and crisis. Volunteers may be asked to prepare a dinner, drive someone to services or send notes of support. Learn more
College Connection
This Sisterhood initiative sends care packages four times a year during the Jewish holidays to help college students stay connected to their Temple family.
Education Team
Helps to formulate the principles, policies and regulations necessary for the functioning of the Religious school and adult education and oversees the libraries and youth programming.
Philanthropy
Provides opportunities throughout the year to brainstorm, develop and carry out various fundraising initiatives.
Administrative Team
Handles all issues pertaining to the physical operation of the Temple’s facility, including maintenance, construction, grounds, and other aspects of day-to-day operations.

Membership
Recruits and supports new members and helps our community form relationships with each other. The committee also promotes member “connectivity” through communications (website and social media) and program support.
Men’s Club
Offers an opportunity to become more involved in the Temple through interesting monthly speakers and topics and, of course, bagels! Learn more
Religious Activities
Oversees the essentials of Temple Beth-El’s worship experience. Priority teams include, B’nei Mitzvah, High Holidays, Services and Programming.
Sisterhood
Provides the opportunity for networking through education and social programs, as well as special projects to enhance and enrich the life of the congregation. Supports the B’nai Mitzvah Program, College Connection, Gift Shop and Youth Scholarship Fund. Learn more
Social Action
Supports Temple members in doing Tikkun Olam (“Repair the World”) projects. Learn more
Youth Activities
Offers social and Tikkun Olam activities for our children to help reinforce and strengthen their Jewish identity, as well as provide enjoyable experiences in which to bond with other Jewish children.
YoBE: Pre-K – 7th Grades
YoBE, or Youth of Beth-El, allows for a fun, social environment with a Jewish twist, for our
pre-k through 7th graders. Learn More
ToBE: 8th – 12th Grades
ToBE, or Teens of Beth-El, is the High School youth group of the Temple. With a foundation in the values of Reform Judaism, ToBE works strenuously to produce programs for Jewish youth in high school. Learn More
