The Mitzvah of Membership

By participating in our Community Commitment, we help enrich Jewish lives for all our members and provide a Jewish home for everyone who wishes to be part of our Temple Beth-El household. 
  
Based on our 2023-2024 annual operating budget, the average net sustaining cost per member household required to operate our Temple is $3,300 per family. 
 
If you are renewing your community commitment, we request that you base your contribution on last year’s giving and consider increasing your contribution. You are welcome to give any amount you feel is right to support Temple Beth-El this year. 

Community Commitment Tiers of Giving

Dor L' Dor | Generation to Generation | Commitments greater than $7,000
Your above-and-beyond contribution helps those who have less capacity.
Includes membership benefits along with a TBE thank-you gift and 2-3 high-level cultural events for this important group of givers who goes above and beyond for our community.

Shomeir  |  Guardian | Commitments $3,301-$6,999
Gifts in this range meet our budgeted needs.
Includes membership benefits along with a special gift from TBE.

Kavod | Honor | Commitments up to $3,300
Everybody's Contribution has an impact and matters.
A meaningful contribution is required for membership privileges to TBE, including clergy support, High Holiday tickets and access to our school.
