7:30 PM - 10:00 PMTemple Beth-ElJoin Temple Beth-El for a very special evening celebrating Selichot.
The evening will begin with a special program, Violins of Hope, sponsored by the TBE Sisterhood. Violins of Hope, hosted by JCC Chicago and other partner organizations, is a collection of 70 string instruments played by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. These instruments have been painstakingly restored and are available for cultural exhibitions, performances, and community education with a message of hope, resistance, resilience, and unity.
Our evening program includes two violinists from the Chicago Civic Orchestra performing with instruments from this private collection of Holocaust era instruments that have been traveling the world prior to their residence in Illinois.
After the Violins of Hope performance, join us for a dessert reception followed by a moving and spiritual Selichot service. Please register below.
