Would you or your family like to bring more joy into the life of an elderly person? Teach your children about a different kind of mitzvah and enjoy a feel good experience? TBE sisterhood is partnering with Gidwitz Place for Assisted Living in Deerfield to create a one-on-one matching program for residents and any TBE congregant/family.

You or your family will be matched with a resident who could use an occasional visit to bring them some much needed happiness. You would commit to visit with your “mensch match” at least once a month. You can bring activities or games to play, books to read, or even a special treat to eat together. Even just stopping by briefly to say hello will make your resident feel special.
