Religious School PreK-7th Grade

Students will have grade level class time and rotating specials each session. Students will explore themes such as Torah stories, Jewish values and holidays, and Jewish Life Vocabulary. They will also experience art, music, improv and Hebrew Through Movement. Together as a community, students gain Jewish literacy and Jewish identity building that helps them thrive and become mensches.

Hebrew Options 3rd-5th Grades

Starting in 3rd grade students can add Hebrew learning to their experience. There are options on Sundays for grade level Hebrew Small Groups (1 teacher and 5 students) either before or after Religious School, on Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm which include T’fillah with our clergy and grade level classes, or one-on-one, 30-minute tutoring in person or on Zoom.

Siblings of Hebrew Small Group Students are invited to join during the 8:45-9:30 am or 11:45 am-12:30 pm Hebrew Small Groups for Siblings Club. This is supervised free play in our youth lounge for K-7th grade students.

Teens 8th-12th Grades

Madrichim are helpers in our Religious School. They are incredible role models for our younger learners, gain meaningful hand-on experience and volunteer hours. They also receive small gifts during Hanukkah and at the end of the year.

Teen Limmud: This is a lunch and learn experience with a national curriculum that helps to guide our conversations.

NEW: American Jewish University Classes for College Credit — please email Laura about this new learning opportunity offered in our community!

Friday Crew

Religious School learning, just like on Sundays but on Fridays, in a multi-grade level experience. We celebrate Shabbat each week and families are encouraged to stay for Shabbat Services.
