Worship Services
From the more casual to the more formal, to our tots all the way to our seniors, we have a worship experience that is right for everyone. Our commitment to inclusion allows each person to feel welcome and integral to our congregation.
Temple Beth-El warmly welcomes our congregants to a wide variety of worship opportunities. From casual services to services with a more formal feeling, from family services to adults of all ages, Temple Beth-El has a worship experience that is right for everyone.
Kabbalat Shabbat
Friday Evenings, 6:00 pm
Our services are led by our Rabbi and Cantor, and both provide a warm, inclusive and prayerful Shabbat experience. Kabbalat Shabbat services allow for congregants to participate through prayer and song. The service is a more informal experience. The early service typically ends around 7:15 pm, providing an opportunity for Shabbat dinner with family and friends. Join us in person or via livestream on Vimeo.
Shabbat Morning Traditional Service
Saturday mornings, 10:00 am
The traditional morning Shabbat service is led by our Rabbi, Cantor, and our accompanist. Our congregation often celebrates b’nei mitzvah at this service, and most of the service honors are offered to the family of our celebrants. We warmly welcome everyone to attend the service and enjoy the Kiddush that follows.
Shabbat Morning Casual Minyan
Saturday mornings, 9:30 am
Our Shabbat Morning, lay-led, participatory service occurs in our Mishkan (chapel). This intimate one-hour service is informal and open to young and old alike. After worship, many participants remain for a lively discussion about the Torah portion. Join us in person or livestream on Vimeo.
Shabbat Evening Service
First Friday of the month, 7:30 pm
The Shabbat Evening Services may include a Torah service, a teaching from our Rabbi, musical presentations from the volunteer choir and band, or a guest speaker.
Wednesday Morning Minyan
Wednesdays—via Zoom*
7:45 am: Schmooze
8:00 am: Service
Start your Wednesday mornings at 8:00 am with a spiritual ½ hour recharge at our weekday minyan. Our lay-led minyan was established by congregants wishing to say kaddish within our community and is open to all. Many congregants enjoy breakfast together after the service.

Shabbat Yeladim (Tot Shabbat)
First Friday of the month (check our calendar)
5:30 pm: Complimentary dinner
6:00 pm: Age appropriate worship followed by oneg
An upbeat and enjoyable introduction to Temple for children ages 7 and younger. Older siblings are welcome to attend and participate with their families. This monthly program takes place the first Friday of the month.
We start with complimentary dinner at 5:30 pm. At 6:00 pm we move into the sanctuary to gather for an age appropriate worship experience that includes singing and dancing, a story, and an introduction to prayers. The evening concludes with a craft project and oneg where families can meet and mingle, and still get their children home for bedtimes.
Family Shabbat
Third Friday of the month, 6:00 pm (check calendar)
Our Family Friendly Shabbat service welcomes people of all ages. This service features a story instead of a sermon and engaging music so children can participate in fun ways! It includes festive music, a story, and blessings for anyone celebrating birthdays during the month. Join us for a camp style songfest following the service.
