As devastating fires continue to sweep through Los Angeles, we are called to come together and support those in urgent need. Over 250,000 people have been displaced, and more than 5,000 structures — including entire neighborhoods — have been destroyed. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in helping individuals and communities across LA County rebuild their lives.

We invite you to join Temple Beth-El in making a collective gift split between two organizations on the forefront of relief efforts: 

• JewishLA , the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles is supporting numerous organizations focusing on a diversity of relief efforts. 
• Congregation Or Ami of Calabasas. A member of their congregation is a fire fighter and the congregation is committed to purchasing 500 wildfire protection masks to safeguard these heroes. They need help to raise $45,000 to make it happen. Every $90 donated provides one mask, and extra funds will go toward helping those affected by the fires.
