Thank you for being an important part of our Temple Beth-El community.  We invite all members of our congregation to participate in our Community Commitment program. Temple Beth-El no longer collects annual membership dues or conducts an annual High Holiday Free Will appeal.  Instead, Temple Beth-El Community Commitment allows you to choose a membership contribution that is meaningful and appropriate for your household.  The funds collected through Community Commitment are an essential part of meeting the annual operating needs of our Temple.

Please complete the information below to renew your commitment for the 2022-23 fiscal year (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023) by August 26,  2022

By participating in our Community Commitment, together we help to enrich Jewish lives for all of our members and provide a Jewish home for everyone who wishes to be part of our Temple Beth-El family.

Based upon our 2022-2023 annual operating budget, the average Net Sustaining Cost per Member Household required to operate our Temple is $3,000. The Net Sustaining Cost per Member Household is calculated by taking all the expenses of the Temple (excluding school costs), offsetting these expenses by all non-community commitment miscellaneous revenue sources, and dividing that net number by the number of Member Households.
 

Your Previous Giving

We request that you base your Community Commitment contribution on your last year’s giving and consider increasing your contribution.   You are welcome to give any amount that you feel is right to support Temple Beth-El this year.
