Our Executive Director, Gerri L. Madenberg, comes to Temple Beth-El with many years of experience working in the Jewish community. Gerri is responsible for all non-clergy related administrative functions including, facility maintenance, contract negotiations, personnel and financial management as well as facilitating staff, board, and member interaction and communication. 

Prior to joining our staff, Gerri served as Temple Administrator at Lakeside Congregation in Highland Park, served as the Director of Membership for Temple Sholom in Chicago, Interim Education Director at Congregation Ahavath Chesed in Jacksonville, Florida and Assistant Director in Administration and Education for K.A.M Isaiah Israel.

Gerri holds a BA in finance and accounting from Florida Atlantic University.  She is a member of the National Association of Temple Administrators and the Chicago Association of Synagogue Administrators (CASA).

Gerri lives in Deerfield with her two children, Ellie and Coby.  Please feel free to contact her with any questions, concerns or new ideas.
