Janice Hadesman, Executive Director
Janice Hadesman grew up at Temple Beth-El and began working as a teacher in 1993. In time her role increased as she became Family Life Director, Director of Family and Congregational Life and now takes on the role of Executive Director. As Executive Director, Janice assists the Board of Directors and Clergy in creation of polices, visions and goals as well as developing and coordinating Temple programming. She is responsible for many aspects in the daily life of the congregation including new member recruitment, integration and participation, marketing and public relations, staff supervision and management, facilities usage and fundraising.
Janice graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2005 she graduated from The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School for Educators. She is the recipient of the Faye & Haskell Lurie Award for excellence in teaching and is a presently a member of the Program Directors of Reform Judaism. Janice looks forward to becoming a member of NATA, National Association of Temple Administrators.
Janice resides in Northbrook with her husband Howard. They have two daughters who attended Kindergarten through Confirmation at Temple Beth-El.
