Janice Hadesman, Director of Family and Congregational Life

As the Director of Family and Congregational Life since 2002, Janice develops and implements the countless family and congregational programs at Temple Beth-El. She oversees the membership and fundraising committees as well as Temple's Chavurah groups. In addition to these responsibilities, she is the director of the Temple’s Summer F.U.N. pre-school camp and pre-school programs during the school year. Janice has been a teacher at Temple Beth-El since 1993.

Janice graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education and graduated in 2005 from The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School for Educators, a project of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a member of the Program Directors of Reform Judaism and also the recipient of the Faye & Haskell Lurie Award for excellence in teaching.

Janice has been a member of Temple Beth-El since she was a young child. She resides in Northbrook with her husband Howard, and have two daughters who attended Kindergarten through Confirmation at Temple Beth-El.
