donation form. For contributions of $18 or above, a card will be
sent to notify your friends/loved ones, of your contribution.
General Fund
Membership Dues alone do not sustain our Congregaton. The General Fund provides additional necessary resources for the ongoing operation of our congregation, helping us maintain our physical campus and meet all of our budgeted expenditures during the year.
Free Will Fund
High Holiday Appeal
Memorial Fund
Allows members, family and friends to honor a deceased relative or friend. The proceeds of this fund help are used for the general operating expenses of the congregation.
Perpetuation Fund
Provides necessary resources to make capital improvements and pay down the mortgage.
Blitz Family Children's Cultural Fund
Provides financial support for guest speakers, music and arts programs for the educational benefit of the children of
Temple Beth-El.
B'Yachad (Caring Committee)
Enables Temple Beth-El members to reach out to others in our congregation who are in need by sending cards, helping to prepare for shiva, cooking meals for the sick, etc.
Clergy Discretionary Funds
Allows our clergy to fund needs and projects consistent with the charitable, religious and educational purposes of

Children's Library Fund
Supports the maintenance of the children's library, provides books, videos, etc.
Education Fund
Support for adult education, guest speakers, and special educational projects for the Temple Beth-El Slavin-Malkin School.
Kaplan Camp Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to assist 3rd, 4th or 5th grade students to attend Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute Camp for their first Jewish over-night summer camp experience.
Distinguished Journeys
Supports social and educational programming for senior adults .
Matthew Schaffer-Schwartz z"l Tikkun Olam Award Fund
Provides a $500 College scholarship to a graduating high school senior who has devoted him/herself to acts of Tikkun Olam – Repairing the World, during their High School years.
Mishkan T'filah Prayer Book Plate ($36 minium donation)
Provides Mishkan T'filah Prayer Books for our congregation.
Phyllis Natalie Podolsky z"l Library Fund
Provides funds for the maintenance and upkeep of the Library, and assistance to the congregation for programs related to the fine arts, humanities or other cultural endeavors.
Social Action Fund
Provides support to our sister community in Yekaterinburg, Russia and for a wide variety of Tikkun Olam projects created by the Social Action Committee for the benefit of our wider community
TBE Employee Appreciation Fund
A means of expressing appreciation to the administrative staff of the congregation, these funds provide occasional staff meals and other tangible gifts to our hardworking staff..
TBE Men's Club Fund
Provides support for the Temple Beth-El Men's Club.
TBE Men's Club Restricted Fund
Provides support for the Facilities and Building.
TBE Sisterhood Fund
Provides support for the Temple Beth-El Sisterhood.
Torah Fund
Provides resources to maintain our Torahs, write new Sefer Torahs, and teach Torah to our congregation.
Tree of Life ($154 per leaf, minium donation)
Provides support for Temple Beth-El and recognizes your contribution with the purchase of a leaf on our Tree of Life. The office will contact you for the inscription.
Tzedakah Fund
Each month our Social Action Committee and/or Clergy designate a cause outside of our congregation for our communal support. Your contribution helps Temple Beth-El fulfill its charitable mission by supporting the surrounding community.
YoBE – Youth of Beth-El Fund
Supports the social and communal activities of our Temple Beth-El Youth Group - YoBE.
