Women's Club
Temple Beth-El Women’s Club is a place to find friendship, warmth, sharing, and hospitality among the women of our congregation. We provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth and fulfillment in a Jewish atmosphere, through social and learning experiences.
Women’s Club supports the temple community through volunteerism, leadership, and financial assistance. We provide gifts to B’nai Mitzvah children. We also offer scholarships to children attending Jewish overnight camp.
We offer a wide range of activities each year. Highlights include our annual White Elephant Dinner and Auction, Women’s Chocolate Seder, Holiday Boutique, Game Night, Pinstripes evening with Men’s Club, and Botanic Garden lunch and tour.
Women’s Club affiliation offers a worldwide identity through its membership in the Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ); the Women’s Affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism, which is the central body of Reform Judaism in North America. Established in 1913, WRJ is a federation of more than 550 Sisterhoods with 75,000 members throughout the U.S. and Canada. The WRJ is the collective voice and presence of women in congregational life, working to strengthen temples and communities, and ensuring the development and growth of Reform Judaism.
